Air Duster
Vintage CK duster cardigan. F21 bodysuit.
This vintage CK duster thingy is really something. Very Spring 2011, and very Jennifer Aniston circa 1998 (worn with a white tank and blue jeans, nonetheless.) Decided to take a more avant-garde route and do it with one of my favorite things to go out at night in, my F21 bodysuit that I wore for Halloween.
Hope you all had a great Christmas, Hannukah, Kwanzah, Solstice, etc. Can you believe it's almost 2011?! No plans for New Years yet, I can't even think of what to wear!

Hell Of A Life
Photos by Youngandsleek.com and lookbookla.com.
Vintage faux fur coat. Fruit of the Loom sweater. H&M sweatpants. F21 wedges.
I went to one of my favorite L.A. places this weekend, Freakcity LA. I wore sweats. Yes, sweats. Had a great time, if you can't tell from these photos.
Christmas is like four days away. Umm WTF? Where did 2010 go?

Machine
Vintage linen blazer and shirt. H&M pants. Nameless sandals.
I've been looking at these McQueen-esque pants for a while now and finally got them when they went on sale for the undeniable price of 10 dollars. Kept it simple and conservative on top with nude colors. This may be one of my all time favorite outfits.

Ten Steps And Roses
Vintage faux fur coat. F21 bodysuit.
I've been wearing this great vintage coat ever since I got it on Monday. It reminds of one that I never got around to buying at Zara. Its overall functionality (it's really warm) and versatility make it a winner in my book.

Joe Sorren
This weekend, I did one of my favorite things: Gallery hopping. While hopping, I made my usual trip to Cal State Fullerton's Grand Central Art gallery. They always have some sort of retrospective gallery featuring a well known artist (or a collection of works from well known artists) and this time around they were showing "Interruption" by Joe Sorren. I have never heard of Sorren before then, and I must say, I am now quite the hardcore fan. In my time at his exhibition, I was floored, humored, moved, and most importantly, inspired. His work remonds me of a cross between George Condo and Yashimoto Nara. I've chosen to post some of my favorites from the exhibit, and I recommend google-ing him if you are an art fanatic as I am. My favorite one is that last one, with the white monster. I somewhat connected with the guy in my, like, five minutes in front of the painting. Look at it and play Annie Lennox's "Lost" in the background. And prepare to feel emotion.

Slow Down
Vintage coat and denim shirt. F21 jeans and clog boots.
These boots are my new favorites, not because of their universal wearability but they are so much fun to walk in. Not sure why. Paired them with double denim and camel for a chilly Tuesday.

Tickle Me Pink
Vintage sweater, pants, and bag. Target sandals.
I've decided to get a head-start on Spring 2011's brights by wearing my new pair of neon pink vintage cropped pants. So much fun to wear!
Sorry for the delay on posting.. Life has taken over once again. Hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving (for all my American readers) and expect to see some fun, cold-weather looks from yours truly soon!

Lanvin Pour H&M
T-shirt, skirt and bag, Lanvin for H&M.
There was nothing in this world like waking up at 5:20 a.m. to go wait in line for Lanvin's capsule collection for H&M last Saturday. It involved a ton of rain, 4 hours total of line-waiting, and 20 minutes of snagging things off the racks. In the end, I walked away with all this. Can't say I wasn't happy.

Mountain Man
Vintage coat. Alternative henley. Target leggings. John Varvatos motorcycle boots. H&M bag.
This vintage coat appealed to me because it looks very similar to the one on the fall Burberry Prorsum runway that I died over. Wore it with leggings and hard boots accordingly.

Blame Game
Vintage coat and sweater. Tyte jeans. Deena & Ozzy sandals. Vintage YSL sunglasses.
I've been sort of living in this coat since I got it, like, three days ago (for $8!) It's been super cold (still) and now super windy! So no fringe or crazy fur until further notice. Anna and I shot these photos today down the street and around the corner from her house. I was thinking of how Inez and Vinoodh would shoot someone. My camel obsession has not dissipated (as evidenced by this post) nor do I think it will for the rest of the season (or ever, perhaps.)

Warm
BDG parka. Vintage Geoffrey Beene sweater. Target leggings.
It's one of those days where the sun is shining down on everything but it's freezing cold. Not my favorite of days. I'm much more of a gray sky cold freezing chance of rain day person. So because of the cold, I decided to bundle up (well, sort of.) I'm wearing my replacement parka to the F21 one I wore like all spring that got completely faded. So enter cool BDG parka with a diagonal cut in the back (that you can't see here.) I got this sweater a few weeks ago and found a similar one by Alexander Wang for his T line a few days ago. Couldn't help but to feel a little cool. I'm wearing my favorite color combination altogether right now, army green and gray. I have Junya Watanabe to blame for turning me on to this color combo.
And just to clarify, in the second photo, I'm laughing, not making a funny face. But I guess this photo just defines my laughing face as a funny face.

Birch St.
H&M tank. American Apparel pants. Aldo booties. F21 sunglasses. Club Monaco bag.
I've discovered that lunch at Corner Bakery with Ali is one of my favorite things. (Cheddar broccoli soup and a chicken pomodori sandwich today? Yum.) I've had these pants forever but have not worn them until today (I was feeling flashy.) I'm learning to be really spontaneous with clothes and I've been trying not to go back to the same 4 things in my wardrobe. Fashion should be fun, not restrictive. I'm sort of barely realizing that now.
And P.S. It's November already! How this year has flown by!

Thick As Thieves
Vintage boots. Target leggings.
Thick-heeled Margiela-esque vintage booties that took some serious time to break in.

Minimaliste
Michael Michael Kors sweater. Vintage pants. Club Monaco bag. F21 sunglasses. Nameless sandals.
Pulling inspiration from Chloe, enjoying 70 degree weather. I've been wanting to look like two things lately: 1) A model off duty (think Raquel Zimmermann and Abbey Lee) and 2) Anna Dello Russo. Counting down the days to Halloween, even though I've already experienced a few Halloween parties this month. I'm curious, what are all of you planning to dress up as?

The Gilded Age
Photos from AnOther Magazine. Photographed by Lina Shceynius. Styled by Camille Bidault-Waddington.
Saw these photos and was really inspired by the glamorous deconstruction. I sort of want to live this way.

Sci-fi
H&M shirt. Thrifted shorts. Aldo wedges. F21 sunglasses.
Wearing my new favorite shoes, my Aldo Daskal shoes. They're very similar to the ones in my last outfit. Funny story, they were the last ones at the Aldo on Melrose and they were my size. If that's not fate, I don't know what is. They're so comfortable and soo much fun to wear. They kind of take every outfit to the next level.
