Look What I'm Wearing!!!

I find that as the days go by, my clothes get darker. I love the color black; as you may have guessed by my last posting. I feel more comfortable in an all-black emsemble than a crazy, vibrant outfit I might have favored my freshman year. I know that black is the uniform of the fashion industry, and when I do enter the world of fashion someday, I'm going to have to add some kind of edge to it in order to stand out. Anyways, here are some of my current looks:

I was thinking a little bit european, a whole lot avant-garde. I love the shape of this wrap. And usually when I do all black, I play with texture (notice the leather equestrian boots.)

(Sorry for the blurry picture. But it kind of looks like a Juergen Teller photo, right?) Today was the day our school took our class photo. Everyone said, "Wear red!" But being the fashion rebel I am, I decided to go 80's punk. (And because I don't really own anything red.) That is my favorite leather jacket, a The Who t-shirt, and some acid-washed jeans with my favorite motorcycle boots.

I love these John Varvatos motorcycle boots. I wear them all the time. On the weekends, I wear these, black jeans, a plain tee, and a cardigan and/or a leather jacket.

First And Foremost

Hey. It's Nathaniel. Yes, I am blogging about fashion. I live it. I'm going to spare you the story of my life or my "discovery of fashion" and jump to what I love to talk about most: clothes!

So here they are, my current fashion obsessions.

I love beyonce. I think she is genius for trying out some very avant-garde looks for her current videos. And those glasses. I love them. I want them. I am a sunglasses whore.

I think the shoulders on this Gareth Pugh jacket are amazing. I could wear this with almost everything in my closet.

I love this mongolian lamb fur vest. Mongolian lamb is my favorite type of fur because it's so wild and rock and roll. Again, it would go with everthing in my closet.

English wild-child socialite Aliice Dellal has a very cool sense of style. Whoever shaves half her head, looks like she's straight out of the heavy metal 80's, and occasionally dresses girly is a style icon in my book (or blog!).

Marc Jacobs Fall '09 was very 80's, very glam, very me. I don't wear much color these days, but I would wear almost every colorful piece in this collection.
