Proenza Schouler offered up many covetable items for Fall. Here are some of my favorites.
I love the weirdness of these boots but....
I like them even more in this cool retro couch-like print. I'm not sure what I would wear them with, but I would wear them.
If you know me, then you'd know I'm the biggest clutch enthusiast ever. I love the utilitarian feel of this one.
I'm obsessed with this coat. It's so interesting and cool, and I love the fact that it's shaped oddly and mixes fabrics. And it looks amazing with those shorts. Good job, Jack and Lazaro!

Bonfire!
Last night I went to my friend Mandy's bonfire. This is what I wore:
Club Monaco sweater, H&M linen jodhpurs (my current favorite pants), Forever 21 sandals and neckalce, Bitten headwrap, vintage shades, Target clutch. I had this vintage leapord print faux-fur coat I would have worn had it been colder, but I didn't.
This morning, my sister Amelia came out of her room looking like this:
Oh my god! I couldn't believe she picked out that skirt! It's so SJP. She kept the rest of the outfit simple (just some bracelet she always wears) and it works. She's learning!

Saturday
This past Saturday I decided to have a "Me" day. This means going out alone and wearing something cool. I really wanted to check out the current art exhibits at Santa Ana's Artists Village.
The outfit I wore. Sandals, necklace, and cardigan from Forever 21, baggy H&M jeans, target tank, and vintage granny sunglasses.
Check out the back of the cardigan. (I got it for $4!) I love back detail.
This crazy intestine-looking piece of art from the OCCCA gallery. Genius!
I was captivated by this piece. It's called "Anteater" by Sheri Lee Robinson, also at OCCCA.
This one was supposed to be like digital rain, and I found it to be a little nostalgic, like a kid looking out the window at the rain. (Well, more like kid in the future looking out the shuttle window at acid rain.)
Looking forward to more adventures as the Summer comes near to ending!

Menswear Spring 2010
The latest menswear collections doth inspire me.
Lanvin. Simple, light.
Dolce & Gabbana. Very sparkly. Something I would wear for night.
Jean Paul Gaultier. Androgynous. Interesting.
Marni. Probably my favorite this time around. I loved the colors/ prints used throughout as well as the accessories. Check out that bag!
Yves Saint Laurent. AMAZING. The entire collection was full of the neutral, lightly-layered look that I'm really into.
John Galliano. Always a showstopper.
Ann Demeulemeester. Loved it, but there were, like, no shirts in the entire show.
And while we're on the subject of no shirts, I've noticed the growing trend in man cleavage. Adrien Brody (shown here) recently wore a cardigan sans shirt underneath to a fashion show and gained major flack for it.
I, personally, like this trend. And I think Adrien Brody rocks it. (He can show cleavage anytime in my book.) There's something very exhibitionist and androgynous about it, especially when the rest of you is covered up. I probably wouldn't try it out because A) I don't have the body (boobs, basically) and B) I tend to dress a little more conservatively while I let my personality be inappropriate and vulgar. But I would if I could.

Couture!
There was an air of 1950's couture over the '09 fall couture collections, as well as an ornate sense of beauty we haven't seen in a while, due to the recession. In all, every collection had something good to offer. Here's a look at some of my favorites.
Dior. Fabulously vintage and classic.
Givenchy. Dark, otherworldly, amazing.
Chanel. Ornate perfection.
Jean Paul Gaultier. My personal favorite. It went from Bridgette Bardot to Beyonce. Loved it.
