A Couple Of Hot Tomatoes
Vintage jacket, shirt, and clutch, H&M shorts, F21 boots.
A run to the Cheesecake Factory, the bank, Borders, and Target right before it closed. That was my friday night. At Borders, my friend Ali took over as artistic director and photographed me around the store. Not the best quality photos (bad lighting and no flash), but I love what I'm wearing. Better shot of the jacket...
I recently got this jacket from a thrift store. I'm, like, obsessed with it. It looks like what would happen if Issey Miyake desinged a sportswear line. I was kind of bummed out because when we left Borders, it was raining, and the jacket is silk. Thankfully, no damage was done. Can't wait to wear this one again!

Miss you, Lee.

R.I.P. ALEXANDER MCQUEEN
Wow... I can't believe I'm actually typing this right now. Mr. McQueen was one of my all-time favorites in the fashion world, and I always looked forward to what he was going to do next. I dreamed about the day when I would be able to visit his atelier, try on his clothes, and chat with him and laugh with him about the flaws of life. Unfortunately, that day will have to remain a dream. He never ceased to surprise me with his design style: a fusion of romanticism, art and extremism. No matter what the critics said, he always continued with his vision, a vision I always supported and admired. It feels like I'm not only losing a hero, but like I'm losing a mentor and a friend. Lee Alexander McQueen, you will be deeply missed.

Thrill Is To Make It Up
Quick outfit post, I couldn't help but put this look on here. It was hanging out on my camera all day, so I'm putting it to good use now. I have to admit, I didn't feel all that great in this, maybe because I was rushing to school and was overthinking it. Grey BDG sweater, black Silence+Noise harem pants, F21 booties, H&M bag, and some random pair of sunglasses I got from a drugstore.
Miu Miu S/S 2010 Ad
I am in love with the Miu Miu Spring ads. Lindsey Wixon looks amazing, but the photography is what kills me. Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott are behind the lens, and whenever they do anything, I'm a fan. (Remember that Vogue "Little red riding hood" editorial last September? No words!) Miu Miu's Spring collection was phenomenal (Miuccia Prada never ceases to impress), but the ads make it 20 times more epic.

Here Comes The Rain Again
Vintage shirt, slip-on booties, and Chanel backpack. F21 jacket and leggings. BDG cardigan (under jacket.)
Rainy day, after 9:00 Improvisation class, feeling a little Chloe Sevigny. I'm not sure why I always choose to wear leggings on the most impractical of days (like today when it's pouring and freezing!) But despite the cold and the drops of water, I love the rain. I just sometimes wish my wardrobe did too.

Eyeliner And Cigarettes
Last night, I scored these gray, extremely well cut (well, for my body) cigarrete pants for only $5! Yes, the H&M gods have blessed me with good things at a good price yet again. (I also got a pair of bronze skinny silk-ish pants for the same price.) I came home only to discover that these pants are a little out of place with the way I've been dressing lately. As you may have figured out, I've been playing with proportion as of late, oversize with skinny, skinny with oversize, etc. These pants may be skinny, but I just couldn't wear them with a baggier piece. So I went skinny streamlined, which is something I haven't done in a while. This morning I threw on these pants over the white Hanes v-neck I slept in and slipped on these amazing black vintage wingtips (that hurt like a mother after 10 minutes of wear.) I liked this look, it made me feel a little nostalgic, and a little bit like Johnny Cash. Also worn with vintage clutch (Anna's) and H&M sunglasses.
