Wore this old Hollwood/ Waris Ahluwalia-esque last night to a friend's gallery reception in Santa Monica and to a party. Bad idea for the party. After having beer spewed all over the pants (which are silk)and just being a monster all night, my new pants are hanging up to dry after being handwashed. *sigh* Oh well. Pray for those pants!

Mixing denim and black, two of my favorite things right now. Really wanted to wear harem pants again after seeing Gwen Stefani in them. Going to try to enjoy the last of my summer, it's almost over!

Everybody Comes To Hollywood

Friday night at the Roosevelt hotel, observing the scene of fashionable Hollywood kids and washed-up starlets with Brittany and Ali. Yes, I realize it's August and I'm wearing a suede/Mongolian lamb coat! But I wasn't hot at all in it. It's actually been very chilly at night. I've been in Hollywood for the past three nights in a row. It's like an addiction. The glamour, the trash, the feeling. Sort of like a second home to me now.

Strange Little Girls

I've acquired these lovely vintage jackets over the past few months. I haven't really worn them out a lot, which I probably should. The first two are both black sequined, but the top one is a little bit more intricate and a lot shorter. It reminds me of something Miu Miu would do. The latter is a little more Elton John. The brown one I found the same day I found that infamous vintage girdle. Reminds me of Shakespeare. And the last one: It's vintage Fredericks Of Hollywood. I couldn't resist because of the fringe! I feel like a glam cowboy when I wear this. Get colder, California! I have jackets to wear!
