Here are some cool pictures (courtesy of Anna) of me Friday night at a bonfire. I like it because I think I may the only person to wear all black to the beach. (I had no clue what to wear, and my back-up is always all black.) It was seriously a five minute outfit. I'm wearing a Black H&M scarf, black tee, cardigan, and harem pants. Halston sunglasses, and I was wearing some black gladiators from Target. They were by the fire.
That's me and Anna. Here's to more bonfires! Summer is almost here!

What I've Been Wearing Lately
I HAVE BEEN SHOPPING NON-STOP THESE PAST FEW DAYS.
I can't help it! I am a slave to the new Forever 21 that opened down the street from my house! (The entire upstairs is ON SALE.) I can't stop, even though I probably should. Here are some of my recent favorite purchases and outfits.
I just bought that brown oversized turtleneck at a Goodwill store Saturday, and those fabulous Prada/Balenciaga-looking sandals at Forever 21 like two weekends ago. Those are the jodhpurs I wore to prom and I'va had that interesting necklace since last Spring. I was going to wear this outfit to a gallery opening Saturday night, but I ended up not going. I hope something comes up soon so I can!
Here's a close up of the sandals. I try to wear them with everything.
I got that gray cardigan at (you guessed it!) Forever 21 yesterday (It was on sale for $4!). It's a total piece of women's wear (if you couldn't tell by the victorian sleeves) but I think it looks kind of androgynous and avant-garde on me. To add to the avant-garde, I added my drop-crotch pants that are no stranger to this blog, a white v-neck tee, some vintage patent leather oxford shoes, and these weird, square sunglasses I got in L.A. last year.
I wore this outift last Tuesday but I loved it so much, I'm posting it now. The scarf reminded me of Tao's Fall '06 collection "Stoles and Flowers". Worn with black skinny jeans, my new favorite sandals, white v-neck, and black cardigan.
Here is a random picture that a girl in my drama class took as we were playing an intense game of Ninja. And to those who don't believe I copy Balenciaga looks on a daily basis, here is proof!

PROM
As I mentioned in my last post, this weekend was Prom weekend.
Don't you just love my ensemble? The jacket, shirt, tie, and boots are vintage, and the pants are Forever 21. I saw that jacket and had to have it. I decided that since prom, in my eyes, is all about self-expression, why not wear something that is utterly me? (and is the url to my blog, haha.)
The Fashionistas after prom. Ali and Anna's dresses were amazing.
My fabulous date Brittany. We joked that since she looked a little futuristic and I looked a little 80's, our theme was 1984.
I'm a little sad that this means no more high school dances!

I'M SORRY I HAVE NOT POSTED IN LIKE A MILLENIUM.
I have been working on the last drama show of my high school career (the finale was last night. Almost too emotional!) and PROM is tonight! I would like to post a picture of what I will be wearing tonight, but I'd rather wait till after.
I guess I will just post some of my recent fashion adventures. Enjoy!
So my best friend Ali had an art showing not too long ago. My friend Alyssa (that's her in the picture) took pictures and I barely got to see them, like, today. I wanted to dress a bit artsy (because, uh, it was an art show) and this is what I looked like.
As I said earlier, this week was the week of my last drama show. I find that in the week of any drama show, I wear some really good outfits. This week was no exception.
Monday, I looked very Ann Demeulemeester Fall 07. Think this look with the white pants and black boots. I wore a white tee, black shawl-neck cardigan, and gray fur stole.
Tuesday, I looked very Balenciaga Fall 07. Again. There is just something about that collection that I thoroughly liked. I looked almost identical to this, minus the scarf and heels.
Friday, I looked like Kate Moss.
You know, most people might think, "What a copycat." I know I'm a copycat. But what I do is take a look I love and make it my own. And from what I hear, it always works.
